Not that I think hell be a sub-par defender, but the reports for going on two years with Rosario were that he could play defensively in the majors RIGHT NOW and it was only a question as to how quickly his offense would catch up. Those reports don't seem all that accurate so far. A better play on that ball and that's an entirely different bottom 1st.

We caught a game in Cincy in May, and there are references to Rose ALL OVER that stadium, and not all of it is overt. The pizza stand is LaRosa's, the ice cream stand was named after Rosie, the lady version of the mascot. There is a big Rose garden with a white rose bush on the spot where the record-breaking hit landed at Riverfront. And then there is a new statue of Rose in a heads-first slide that was debuted this season. That said, it's a really nice place to see a game!
