There's been a very obvious push from the Mets to be less forthcoming with information regarding their plans and injury, and it's fun how the media just doesn't even't bother to dig or push, just reports it the same way.

Kim cracks me up. He looks like a mob collector more than an athlete. He looks like the boxer the champ uses as a punching bag. Doesn't have a chance but he has good odds to stay on his feet for at least five rounds.

Reyes just shut down that "run" to 1st awfully early for a semi-tough backhand play by the 2Bman. Someone needs to remind him that he doesn't have a job for next year as things stand and that maybe he needs to play like he's fighting for one.

That inning was a little bit of a corker. The first guy reached on a wet-ball error. Then the double over Nimmo's head had him going back at a speed that suggested he wasn't confident in his traction. A homer is a homer, but he finished strong in pissy weather and I'm OK with that. Maybe a taste of the minors got Gsellie a little more focused.
