Spotted buying a Rosetta Stone Canadian course. Really enjoyed watching the Marlins' homerun kinetic sculpture, and did his best to keep it in motion.

Spent a few years as a dependable innings-eater, but mostly, I'll remember him for that one time he ended up on the DL after accidentally ingesting a scorebook, after having been told how valuable innings-eating was. Lord, he's gotten so far for a borderline-illiterate, hasn't he? KEEP REACHING FOR THE STARS, TOMMY! BUT NOT LITERALLY! YOU CAN'T ACTUALLY TOUCH STARS, BUDDY-- COME ON DOWN OFF THE TELESCOPE MOUNT.
