Orioles Park at Camden Yards (Baltimore)

There's not a bad seat in the house in this ballpark. The tickets are reasonably priced and the crowds are friendly even to fans of the visiting team.

Yeah there are.
There are some oddly angled seats in various spots (LF corner as I recall and other spots as well) where the action is mostly taking place at a 45 degree angle from the way you're facing.
It's mostly good, but as the first of the 'retro' parks there are some spots where it seems like architecture decisions won out over baseball conditions.

I've done OK in the left field corner. Had a buncha 7-Liners there with me and they weren't complaining in their section.

I admit I haven't tried the rightfield side. I guess it's important to amend "not a bad seat in the house" with the qualifier that I haven't literally sat in every seat.

If you've never been, walk in front of the warehouse beyond the RF wall...they have small baseball sized plaques for all HRs hit up there since the park's inception.

That's what I recall as well - seats that were angled away from the action on the diamond.

I've been there twice, once back in 1992 when it was a new and much-talked about ballpark, and also back when I was still willing to attend a game that didn't involve the Mets. The second time was in 2010, to see the Mets play. I think Hisanori Takahashi was the starting pitcher for the Mets. What struck me about that second visit was how few food options there were in the grandstands. There were a lot of options out in center field, but if you wanted to find something close to your seat it was pretty much the standard fare of hot dogs and nachos. I don't know if that's still the case.

I drove down to Maryland on Easter Sunday, and took LittleDGW to see the Orioles vs. the Twins. We had great seats 15-20 rows up behind home plate.

Ate at Boog’s BBQ - it was good, but definitely overrated. We were both jonesing for Shake Shack after that.

The area is beautiful, and we both felt that Camden Yards is the ballpark that Citi wishes it was.

We walked around after the 7th inning, and made our way down to the front row by the left field foul pole, which was a fun view to take in.

There’s also a mice monument garden out behind center field. Now if only we can have something like that here...

I guess they really love and appreciate mice in Baltimore. Maybe the Mets can do something to commemorate "pizza rat".
