Every year, usually in spring, a seemingly minor injury comes up. Scarlet freaks out, seemingly over-reacts ,according to cooler heads, but the injury turns out more serious. So everybody join Scarlet and freak out. Maybe a reverse thingie will kick in.

Probably Sanchez. Another fearless prediction: Julio will pitch his last game ever for the Mets some time in May of this year.

Wagner's obviously a good guy to have, but the $$ and the years are a little much for a guy his age and the expectations were already out of sight before this injury.

Fearless Prediction: Wagner's first blown save will bring howls of despair from all over Met-dom about why he had to "turn into Benitez" as soon as we got him. After all, he's never blown a save prior to this season.
