BLC: Aerosmith vs Pink Floyd, redux
seawolf17 Mar 17 2006 11:32 AM |
Going right back at 'em. Gunning for Petty, really, but since I need to get through Floyd first, so be it. Wish Lenny would knock Petty out of the way first, because I sense this is going to be difficult.

Aero has beaten somebody. Was that before losing to the Floyd?

They beat Van Halen but I see that it was indeed after losing to Pink Floyd so it is a valid challenge. I'll tell Lenny once he gets home from school to shine on the homework and defend his spot.

JD -- In the individual song count you have it at 6-4 Floyd, not 5-5.

strange that if i were picking Aerosmith songs i'd have only picked 1 of those 10 to use, one of those rare groups that has different music for different generations i guess.

Dream On and Walk This Way have to be included in any valid Aerosmith list.

The tough thing about this contest is that I'd love to include IDWTMAT (the Armageddon song) or Jaded, but fear ridicule from some of the elitist pricks. I'd use some of their really great album tracks like Woman of the World or One Way Street, but I don't know that anyone will know them. That said:

The lineup juggling helped Aerosmith on my ballot as they gained 1.5 points from their previous Pink Floyd challenge.
