This could get ugly for Aerosmith, there is not a bad song on that list.

All songs can be found on Legend: The Best of Bob Marley and the Wailers, except for the posthumous remix of "Buffalo Soldier."

I, like many, came to know Marley and the Wailers best through the greatest hits collection, so if anybody wants to correct me and point out that one or more of these songs is from a non-Wailers release, please do so.

Tough battle for Aerosmith, especially with Steve Tyler in the hospital.

]As for Cheap Trick, the group will on June 6 release a new studio album, "Rockford," via Big3 Records/Cheap Trick Unlimited. First single "Perfect Stranger" was co-penned by the group with Linda Perry (Christina Aguilera, Courtney Love), who also produced.

I'm telling you, Cheap Trick is in league with the Devil.

Get up, stand up, Aerosmith.

Aerosmith are wussies.

Mar 24 2006 10:38 AM

I don't believe in this. Bob Marley and the Wailers is just Bob Marley. Bruce is just the Boss. Any band with "and the" is really just the front man.

Edgy DC
Mar 24 2006 11:16 AM

Yeah, I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you there, Bob.

Besides, the first half of their career, they were just the Wailers.

Mar 24 2006 11:23 AM

My boss is a huge Bob Marley fan and can list off the bandmembers quite easily (Peter Tosh is the only one I can think of offhand).

Willets Point
Mar 24 2006 11:27 AM

Bob Marley, Pete Tosh and Bunny Livingston are the big three. Marley's wife Rita was also in the band.

Edgy DC
Mar 24 2006 12:02 PM

Bob Marley
Peter McIntosh (later "Tosh")
Bunny Livingston (later "Wailer")
Aston "Family Man" Barrett
Carlton "Carlie" Barrett
The I-Threes: Rita Marley, Marica Griffiths, and Judy Mowatt

Al Anderson replaced Tosh, I think. Later comers who became long-timers in the post-Marley era include Tyrone Downie, Junior Marvin, and Earl "Wire" Lindo.

Bad example then. What about the Boss?

Edgy, drop a song so that Seawolf can come up with his list.

Now a blatant cheater would try to slip in a song by

and the

but I think Edgy honestly goofed and listed 11 songs when he meant 10. And hopefully he'll see this in the morning and realize his error has been pointed out to him 4 times and rectify things.

FK's actual score is 7.5 to 2.5, although his abstract suggests that he meant to vote against "Sweet Emotion." If so, his 8.5-1.5 should stand.

Almost surely won't matter. Scoring FK 7.5-2.5 makes the score so far Marley 51.5 to Aerosmith 18.5.
