Why is he so in love with Anderson Hernandez..cause he can speak spaish to Reyes. Alfonsio Soriano spanish..Delgado Spash... Duaner suckchex spanish,Beltran,Diaz,Valentin..and on and on The cheer at Shea this year.... Lets go M-E-S-S with 40,000 fans that can't say Mets. There is not ONE good reason to deny Keppinger the job until Matsui comes back. I am politically incorrect but I have the right not to tolerate pandering... GEEZ. TRADE MILLEDGE HE AINT SPANISH!!!!!!!!!

Ok, we don't know. Therefore we shouldn't assume that it is Omar who is behind the apparent anointment of Hernandez. Randolph was a second baseman, maybe Anderson reminds Willie of himself, maybe Keppinger smells bad, I don't know. We can judge Omar on the trades he makes, but not the playing time a particular player gets.

Willie has gone on record repeatedly saying that he's more concerned with defense at 2b than offense... hence, Anderson's perceived edge. reason #348 why Willie is an idiot.

When I watch Omar I see a proud Latin man who borders on arrogant. He is a leader in his community..no doubt...baseball GM?..don't know yet. I believe he worked for Frank Robinson and MLB.. My Mets fear this year is team chemistry. I see some Divas..Pedro, Delgado,Beltran, Floyd, and I picture Coleman Saberhagen and firecrackers. Lets us hope there are no clubhouse fires. I'm a little miffed management didn't show David Wright and Jose Reyes a little love with the contracts. I hope they don't sour.. As far as my M-E-S-S chant column...I can admit that was wrong. But I have been to Shea lol..I had lived in Morristown NJ for 15 years and my property was destroyed by hispanic daylaboers in violation of all local ordinances. I moved. They are still there. So thatS my problem... Anyway...lets just get Cablevision and win the damn ballgame...

I <gasp> agree with Elster completely. Pedro has a bit of a maverick attitude but he's not the firecracker type. Delgado is, from everything i've heard, a somewhat quiet guy. Beltran and Floyd arent out to do anything wrong either. This team might have a few attitudes but not in the negative Coleman/Henderson way. ]Screw you liberal knothead well, at least he said something that i'm on board with.
