Not only that, but ever since the advent of mandatory having to register your software online, and having to allow the manufacturer access to your computer for updates and whatever elses, I've been extremely suspicious of what the hell could be going on what with the software companies now having unfettered access to your computer and free reign to go in there and do god knows what.. I don't like it and I try to minimize this as much as I can, which probably isn't much. I don't use anything cloud, for example.

the only question I have is why it took the government this long to decide a foreign company - particularly one with a non-allied government - should not be allowed to provide security software to our government.
