The Grinch is here?

My building didn't put up holiday decorations this year because the management company was sued by someone in another building they own because the menorah in the lobby wasnt "big enough" compared to the christmas tree.

Thoughts?

I think the guy is a jerk. The owner should be allowed to decorate the lobby area however he wants, he owns it and you aren't renting it.

Hanukkah is really a minor holiday on the Jewish calendar, and the person who complained should know that.

And if he doesn't, he shouldn't be making an issue of it.
The owner put up a Menorah.
I would appreciate that.

OE: He SUED??
That's just stupid.

I'm kind of indifferent. Our company puts up a lot of decorations in the lobby, including a properly-proportional menorah. If it all wasn't there one year I probably wouldn't notice.

For the first time this year, we're having an office-wide decorating contest. Folks have really gone all out.
