Kaplan Herald

I don't know what the Kaplan Herald is. It seems like some foreign news aggregator has taken over the website of a small newspaper from Kaplan, Louisiana. I've been seeing more and more stale stories from them in my Google news feed. Yesterday I learned that Don Rickles had died, although that was months ago. Today I saw a story about Zack Wheeler winning a game against the Phillies, as if it had happened yesterday. Google News has a Settings page where you can block or prefer certain news sources. I've taken the step of blocking the Kaplan Herald from my news feed.

Re: Kaplan Herald

You might be sorry. Now you will not get news about their local parades, etc.

I find the Kaplan Herald useful for staying abreast of whose noses rubber hoses are going up.
