The 3d and 4th best covers, the non-Daily News Division. Jose gets in over the bloated cover (despite the good headline).

I also voted for the Newsday cover for its nice clean layout. The Post cover is too cluttered, as they often are.

Never would have guessed Big Inning would be a semi finalist. Have to think it's the runner up cover this year, no matter who wins the other poll.

The New York Post had not been performing well in this year's Tabloid Cover Derby, while Newsday had secured four of the slots in the Elite Eight. However, the tables have now turned, and the Post's IN THE BIG INNING has survived to the final round, while the last remaining Newsday cover, THANK YOU, CARDS, has now been eliminated.
