So, Reyes or Flores in the outfield ... it's never going to happen, is it? Or at least, not until the team gets in a jam during the regular season and they need it to happen.

Since I have been crapping on Gonzalez as much or more as anyone here, I feel obligated to point out his very nice opposite field single in his first AB. I think it made Keith a little horny, too.

Mets get a run on a Cabrera double and a Jay Bruce single, while Jacob deGrom just does the damn thing, 3 IP, 6 K's.

Rosario just made a sweet barehanded play that will be worth the hunt online for the replay. Jake did 5 scoreless, 8 K's, but Gsellman comes on and promptly gives up a homer. 1-1 score.

I feel like his RBI single was decidedly "good", but the error was inarguably "not good".

Well his single was a hard hit ball, but it wasn't a fly ball. The stretches where Bruce has been good, as someone that's especially benefited from a juiced ball, are when he elevates the ball.

I mean, it doesn't matter. It's practice. Hopefully he can still get some good power in 2018. But he'll never be a good fielder.

I like this team!

My only gripe is the number of pitchers we are going to bring north.

13 feels like a stretch and an unlucky number
