I love dogs. GET IT?!!? Wes Anderson directs the stop-motion animated hijinx of one boy's quest to save a beloved dog exiled by an evil government. See if you can spot the metaphors!

It's the same "Mr. Fox" thing but probably even better due to the cleverness of it (much of it is told through the perspective of dogs, who do dog-like things which is funny throughout) and the visually imaginative world it depicts. You can take the kids too.

A great film from start to finish. The visuals, the characters, the story, are about as good as you can get. Anderson is stylized to the point of self-satire, but he manages to make it work, and each of his films are a little bit better.

The best animated film I've seen in years, and, if there were any justice in this world, it deserves to get a Best Picture nomination.
