Last year, I beat Familia in Met saves, 7 to 6. I saved 27 between Miami and the Mets. And while saves are over-rated and silly, it's what I write my checks on, so don't look past me. That was more than Familia, it was more than Addison Reed, and it was more than Anthony Swarzak, whoever the hell he is.
I'm part of your bullpen. DEAL with it. Yeah, I might have been gobbled up in part to help the Mets corner the market on relievers and squeeze a little bit more out of the Sox for Reed. But I wouldn't be hear if they didn't want me, even if my profile is a little bit Omarish.
