Can we all verify our numbers? I have Tomas Nido as 1043 at the end of last year's thread --- viewtopic.php?f=1&t=25490&p=706705&hilit=+met+count+#p706705 --- but the UMDB says 1045, so I'm confused.

And that appears to be because Gonzo and Frazier are already on the list as 1044 and 1045.

Did we ever do a complete list? I seem to remember a discussion about trying to 'back-determine' an accurate* accounting of who came in what order going back prior to when we started concocting these annual threads (which, IIRC, was when we started anticipating Mr. 1,000) but I don't remember if we ever really went through with it or, if so, what we might have done with the info. * accurate meaning: based on our self-determined criteria

Also, Lou Thornton, like Jack Reinheimer, did this at the outset of his Mets career (albeit in his second pinch-running appearance).
