El Paso 8, Las Vegas 5
Strong start by P.J. Conlon is supported by Ty Kelly and José Lobaton, but the bullpen (Logan Taylor, Matt Purke, and Jamie Callahan) utterly collapsed, giving up seven runs in three innings.[/list:u]
Binghamton 4, Portland 3
An even better start by Nabil Crismatt also gets no bullpen support, but the Rumble Ponies hold on to a lead built with the help of a double and homer from Pete Alonso and another homer from John Mora.[/list:u]
Binghamton 4, Portland 3
An even better start (one hit through six) by Nabil Crismatt also gets no bullpen support, but the Rumble Ponies hold on to a lead built with the help of a double and homer from Pete Alonso and another homer from John Mora.[/list:u]
Bradenton 7, St. Lucie 6
The Lucies rallied for four runs to tie in the ninth and went ahead in the top of the 10th, but the Marauders came back to win in the bottom of the inning with a rally that started with an Andres Gimenez error.[/list:u]
Augusta 10, Columbia 5
The Fireflies led through five, 5-2, but bullpen collapses are the theme of the day, and Columbia's Stephen Villines, Darwin Ramos, and Conor O'Neil allowed eight runs over the last three, undermining 11 hits for the Columbians. 2016 first-rounder Anthony Kay gave up two runs in four innings in his first pro start after 18 months away from the field recovering from Tommy John surgery.[/list:u]

Re: Prospect of the Day

Ty is showing how glad he is to be back in the organization.
If the Mets are going to stay with 13 pitchers, Ty's ability to play both infield and outfield could earn him a promotion soon.
(Yeah, I know. They'd have to find roster space on the 40 man, but Sandy could figure something out.)
