I'd watch, but I'd be jealous of the weather

Re: Masters

Except that it was raining there today.
Of course you could always just be jealous of their gardening/landscaping.

Cooby, you've been around here long enough to know how dangerous that is.

Re: Masters

Well since we're discussing The Masters (in some form or another) - the one in Augusta, GA landed themselves a great set-up today.
The leaderboard is pretty well stacked of big names* near the top, except for Tiger who made the cut but is mired in the back of the pack among those still in it meaning that he tees off early.
So when TV coverage kicks off at 2 PM with the leaders not teeing off until nearly 3, CBS gets to show show nothing but Tiger (which is pretty much what they'd prefer to do anyway) until he's finished which
should be right around the time the contenders are off and running.

* although defending champ Sergio Garcia is out of it, having scored a 13 on the par 5 15th hole on Thursday. That'll pretty much end your tourney practically before it starts

Re: Masters

It looked like 'Game On' right from the start as Reed's 3-shot lead was down to 1 by the second hole. And it should have been tied except that Rory missed a makable Eagle putt on 2 and then never really got back on track.
The one real challenging round came from Spieth but he just started the 4th round too far back (9 shots). He actually briefly tied Reed but he was so many holes ahead meaning that Reed still had all those Par 5's to play (13th & 15th) so you were pretty sure it wasn't going to hold.
Fowler woke up but only after it was too late to matter unless Reed really botched up a hole or two down the stretch which he never did.
