Disagree with Keith on Zimmerman cutting that ball off. The play was close and the reason the runners moved up was Severino muffing the throw. If he catches that clean they might even have gotten Cespedes out.

MLB blocks me for the Nats games so I couldn't see Flores' at bat, but the the Gameday graphic showed him striking out on a fastball chin high or so. I would expect better from Wilmer.

This is like last year when we got Anthony Rendon out of his April funk in that (23-6?) game, the same one which took out Syndergaard. Zimmerman looked dead in the water prior to his big hit last night and now his 2 HRs today.
