I stuck out the entire first season, but wasn't enthralled enough to invest in a second. I'm taking a pass on this one.

I'm on the bandwagon now for this. I started watching season 1 last weekend and I'm now 8 episodes in. I hope to be caught up in the next two weeks or so.

welcome aboard! As for SF westerns, have you watched the FIREFLY series? No T&A, but good in other ways. Also, WILD WILD WEST was the one that got me started on this sub-genre. And if you like anime, there was a great series from the 1990s called TRIGUN.

Agreed 1000%. This past week was the high point thus far for season 2. Great to see previously un-tapped characters' place in the grand scheme of things.
