Noah Syndergaard takes on Zach Eflin in a matchup that is 13 feet tall. Effy has given up but one run in 12 2/3 innings this season, but he's had bloated ERAs in partial seasons the two previous years. So either he's coming into himself, or this isn't him at all and he's due for a comeuppance. Buddy Baumann has served his suspension and is available out of the pen tonight. Dominic Smith may or may not get his first start of the season. Luis Guillorme may or may not get his first start of his career.
