Mr. Reyes and Mr. Flores, please report to the outfield room.

Mr. Evans is your starting left fielder this soggy afternoon.

This is the right move.

I mean, it was the right move 10 days ago, but I applaud them for eventually doing the right thing.

There's no such thing as a right move, it's unlikely him playing has delayed his return in anyway, and he was productive during that time.

likewise, he could've been productive and healthy enough to contribute in like 3 days and healed up just fine playing through it, it's hard to know for sure.

The Mets' 40-man roster doesn't seem to have the proper balance of positions, does it? Why are they so short on outfielders? This was the case last year too, when they had to bring in Aoki just so they could have three outfielders to close out the meaningless September games.

They had more talent at other positions to protect from the Rule V Draft in the offseason.

One of my companions at last night's game noted the Mets started four shortstops around the infield.
