I would say this for most of the time, but switching Paul and John for the final years.

I never got the which one was > than the other. But really, I'll never ever
get the Ringo > the other three in any universe, 'across the', behind, in front
of, on top or bottom or even approaching.

At the risk of highlighting my real job... Is this a great cover or what? The "bus" is a robotic driverless delivery vehicle this grocer is rolling out.

It will probably do well in the Grocery Business Cover Derby.

Re: Beatle Infestation

My 5 year old is OBSESSED with the Beatles right now. If we are in the car, I have to turn them on. She wakes me up to tell me dreams she's had about them. We read books about them. I have a high school reunion coming up and I told her I was going to see one of my friends who is a drummer and was born in England and she asked me if it was Ringo.

The nice side effect is that I am having a Beatles renaissance. I've always considered them the undisputed beginning and influence of all pop music over the past 50 years, but I've never physically owned any material by them. They were always on the radio so much and I had friends that put their records on that I never needed to buy their music. However, I've recently added several of their albums to my vinyl collection since my daughter and I can listen together. I'm finding a new and stronger appreciation for them.

Also, Paul > John > George > Ringo.

The group is Smyle, from the Netherlands; the lead singer is Bas Muys, who would later go on to sing the John Lennon parts for Stars on 45 on its 1981 worldwide smash Beatles medley. He certainly had the chops for it.

Well, I think this goes without saying.

I asked my friend Martin to rank all Liverpool/Merseyside bands. He came up with:

1. The Beatles

2. Echo & the Bunnymen
3. The Teardrop Explodes
4. Clinic
5. Gerry & the Pacemakers
6. Billy J. Kramer and The Dakotas
7. The Searchers
8. The Swinging Blue Jeans
9. A Flock of Seagulls
10. China Crisis

Two personal (and elemental) favorites he left out: The Icicle Works and The Lightning Seeds.
