Met bats spot Lima 2 runs in the top of the 1st ... and then man battling for the final spot in the rotation (and possibly his baseball life) coughs up a 5 spot in the bottom

Looks like Iriki got cuffed some too -- 3 walks, 2 hits, 3 runs in one inning. Feliciano is on now trying to lose HIS job. In positive news looks like we're hitting some today -- Reyes, Beltran with a couple hits each and were losing 9-5.

]Jim Rome has said the Lima was "on the bubble" to become the Mets' fifth starter. Looks like the bubble just burst. When was Lima ever a candidate for anything other than spot starter/mopup guy? Further proof that you don't have to actually know anything to get your own show on ESPN.

Im still glad we gave Lima a shot. He was worth a look-see. And so was that side view picture of his wife. :)

watching the lowlights on SNY, Lima was pretty bad but had a good second inning...probably curtains for him though.
