REYES WALKED TWICE AGAIN TODAY.

That's four walks in two days. A sign of the Armageddon?

Or coach Rickey?
Or maybe just wild pitchers?

Who knows?

But if it is the start of something positive, we can all say we knew him when......

He's washed up, let's see what we can for him come July - don't want
another Ordonez on our hands.

He's keeping youngsters from getting AB's.

I'm not sure how you get to be so wrong, so consistently, so many times in a row, about hanging onto Mets after their trade value has evaporated, and still get to make fun of the people who advocating pulling the trigger when a deal could still have been made.

Well, as it turns out, those four walks over 2 days are the only walks Reyes has this spring (outside of the WBC, anyway).

Of course, since he's hitting .533 with a SLG of .767 in 30 AB, I guess we have no reason to complain.

Still, it'd be nice if he could take that .625 OBP of his up to .700 or so . . .

Sal, making fun of WFAN callers is a staple on this board and others. Why
single me out unless you wanna attack again?

You have a little scorecard of how many times I'm wrong or is it just that I'm
never right? The Mets are my leisure time, if I wanna be wrong I'll be wrong
until I turn blue and orange in the face and spit Mr. Met bobble heads.

Oh, and have a nice weekend!

Sorry. Didn't mean to start up again. I thought you were starting up with me--if you weren't, I apologize.

Sometimes I think that icon is really a photograph of you and your keyboard.

Couple of my all time favorites:

-During Mike Piazza's first summer here a caller called up Ian Eagle to do some Piazza-Bashing and declared that Mike Piazza was a glorified Mackey Sasser!

-Along the same vein of trading/not trading Reyes I've heard call after call say they would NOT trade Ty Wigginton!

I believe Ty Wigginton will have a breakout season in 2006.

I think the big one was not trading Wiggy and Reyes to Texas for Soriano, and most callers wanted Reyes gone but not Wiggy!
