How should ties be broken?

A rematch with both sponsors putting forward one song... and i guess another if that matchup leads to a tie.	3 votes
A rematch with both sponsors putting forward three songs.	7 votes
Let the tie stand, placing the challenger a rung below the defender, but free to challenge over.	4 votes

I went with Option 1 (as it kind of tracks the one player playoff in the parody contest) but I can live with 3 tracks. I agree, ties suck. This is a baseball forum, not a soccer forum.

I'm fine with the rare ties that may occur from time to time. I will however live with whatever the masses decide.

Keep running the tiebreakers then. Eventually, the team with the deeper bench and better manager wins. This is the only way to solve it.

Actually, that would be fun, but it's just an extension of an error by sharpie. Three songs each from the Cure and Van Halen are needed in their matchup thread.
