Having flashbacks to some of the teams in the 70s - after one or two hitters there was nothing to wait for. I knew it wasn't possible for the other hitters in the lineup to generate any runs. Later

Both catchers were in the game. When Gonzalez pinch-hit, Mickey left him in, moving Weck to catcher. I bailed after the bottom of the 13th,I figured I had suffered through enough and went to bed. Besides, when I looked at the bullpen options (Rhame, Bautista, & Sewald) to pitch the 14th inning, I had no desire to watch the expected carnage.
