The Mets try and stave off sweepage in a Sunday afternoon intracity matchup, sending Seth Lugo to the bump against Luis Severino. Severino has had himself a season, checking in at 9-1. Lugo, though, holds the lower ERA, 2.04 to 2.20. It's Sunday, so the lineup may be a little funky.

Ladies and gentlemen, I am fairly sure this is the first Mets game I have been able to watch this season. I am amazed that somehow MLB or the Mets have not come up with some reason that central Pennsylvania is off limits. Now if only the Mets would put on a show.

He believes in pitch counts. With Lugo having pitched out of the pen until recently, he believes in a pretty modest limit on the pitch count. I got the idea that he already used Lugo an inning more than he wanted. But I'd ride that pony as far as I could.
