I thought we had a 'what are you growing' thread already but I can't
find it and my mind is probably stuck in some 2016-17 theme...

Anyway, this year's crop:

Yellow Bell Peppers
Red Bell Peppers
Habañero Peppers
Oregano
Basil
Parsley
Jalapeño Peppers
Serrano Peppers
Tabasco Chile Peppers
Shikou Eggplant
Rosemary
Better Boy Tomatoes
Huskey Cherry Tomatoes
Big Boy Tomatoes
Beef Master Tomatoes
Boston Pickling Cucumbers
Thai Peppers
Thyme

Picture to follow when I make a prettier this week.

That sounds like a full-blown farm you have going there!

I'm trying broccoli and asparagus for the first time. Some tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini and pumpkins. Last year I had some good pumpkins going, came out one day and discovered some critters feasted on them. This year, I'm prepared.

I've tried to do too much in past years. This year, keeping it to Roma tomatoes, green beans, basil, cilantro, and a bell pepper variety. Tomatoes are off to a good start.

Went to a wedding this weekend...my husbands uncle swears he has good luck with Rosemary but I’ve tried all sorts of varieties and can’t get one thru a winter

What kind are you growing and what kind of luck do you have with it KC?

I never had any luck with Rosemary, but I guess that's because she prefers your husband's uncle.

This year is regular ol' Bonnie Plants organic rosemary. It looks kind scraggly,
I bought young plants this year. I think we've talked about this before, I have
had rosemary last at least two seasons. I think the best one was some Israeli
variety? I don't remember.

My oregano lasted the winter, it's a healthy little bush haha. The thyme (which
is in a big planter on the side of the garage) is in it's fourth season.

My daughter and I are both allergic to Rosemary, my wife isn't. So it is one of the things I never tried to grow and am not sure if I could even touch it to grow it for my wife.

I'm in zone 6 and although some varieties (Hardy Hill, Arp) of rosemaries are supposedly hardy here, they aren't. Or maybe I just have a cold yard :D

My parsley stayed green almost all winter, then suddenly died, along with several of my lavender plants

My husband is allergic to sage. I do grow it though; we just don't use it

Last year I got one of those little rosemary Christmas trees at Sprouts or wherever. I planted it in the spring and the damn thing has grown so much.

Our little gardening project is going well here, too. We've got tons of cucumbers coming up. Sugar daddy snap peas, arugula, chile peppers, tomatoes and beets, oh my!

Two words: tomato sauce.

I have a bumper crop of watermelons this year. Fortunately they're not coming out of any orifices.

I had some home-grown rum-infused watermelon last week.

My husband got me some tick guards so I finally went out and weeded this morning! Got a lot done, came in and showered, put on my swimsuit, went back out and it thundered. Now it's pouring. BOO!
