I went with 1966 because the drawing is more skillfully done and because it's less weird. (Although the two guys holding the bamboo poles are kinda hinky.)

Is Doug Flynn the weakest, least-productive player to ever grace the cover of a year book?

Both FanGraphs (0.4 WAR) and Baseball-Reference (1.0 WAR) list his 1980 as his only positive-WAR season since leaving Cincinnati, so if ever he was to make the cover, 1981 would be the year.

Which isn't to suggest that the guy wasn't a hero to me. He was!
