This is the first time we've seen two Willard Mullin covers facing off against each other. I went with 1967.

Went with 1964. I always like the way Mullins draws letters -- except for the way he did the Mets' wordmark in 1967.

I'm sorry about Mullin's S, but 1967 is still the gold standard and I'm voting for it the whole way unless you put it up against the Ocean Rain cover or Aja or something like that.

He didn't get the M right either, but I'm with you on 1967, until and unless it goes up against 1968, which is the one I'm riding to the end with.

One cover focuses on facilitating a stumble. One cover focuses on keeping sure footing. Gotta go with climbing onward and upward.
