likewise. But I"m working from home as ceetarette gets over a cold, and have a conference call at 2:30. but I'm making croissants, rainbow crumb cake, and chocolate chip cookies, so I'll deal with it.

Now that I am semi-retired, I work a 4 day week. My partner and I have arranged our schedules so that we each get a 4 day weekend every other week. Mine was this weekend. I didn't see the point in being off Friday through Monday, then return to work today before being off for Independence Day. So I took today off for a 6 days off. Not surprisingly, my partner is taking Thursday (July 5th) off leading into his long weekend.

That's the beauty of a Wednesday holiday. Both you and your partner can take days off (before or after) and you can both claim you took the extra day off on your vacation. As for me, I worked until 8 PM today. But there's a teleconference with our business partner this Thursday afternoon. I hope someone will take good notes because I'm taking that day off. Later
