Happy Birthday, America

How are you folks celebrating the 4th of July?

My cousin and his family (wife and three kids) are coming up from Texas for a vacation in the Big Apple - typical touristy stuff - boat ride around Manhattan, Broadway show, ballgame at YS III. Today, they'll be coming up to my daughter's house to celebrate American's freedom (how fucking ironic are those words these days?) and we'll join them there for a dip in the pool and cookout.

Stay safe everyone.

Looking pretty good for her age although has aged a bit over the last year or so.

Hoping she makes it to 245 intact.

Both the kids are away so we'll have a smaller than usual fireworks show. I've got a special soundtrack and everything. It's fun.

My mother-in-law is coming over and we'll throw burgers, dogs and corn on the grill!

Appreciating the opportunity to be in an industrious land that is free, inclusive, and democratic.

Greetings from Toronto.

Ketchup tarriffin' son's of b... ahem, sorry...

We're home alone. A couple of our regulars are away and others at a firehouse
function. Doing some weeding and have to slow cook some ribs then wait for 7:07
to roll around (to pop in 1776)...

Ten mile foot race around Cazenovia Lake, then a cookout for lunch with my inlaws at a park. That was all earlier today. I came home and napped.

After the family gets back, we'll be going to watch some AAA baseball and fireworks at the game.
