Jacob deGrom is the Schaefer Mets Player of the Month, by a comfortable margin. He finished nearly 6 points ahead of runner-up Zack Wheeler. This is the fifth time that Jacob has been Player of the Month, which ties him with Carlos Beltran. Only David Wright, Jose Reyes, and Johan Santana have won this award more often.
