Yeah, I'm generally not a big fan of this series to begin with (especially the ones at the armory) and it's even worse when they're one of the best teams in baseball and, ya know, the Mets are the worst! I'm excited to get Yo back on track, and happy he can get his feet wet as DH this weekend. Wow, I just said something positive about the DH. Someone slap me, I've lost my senses.

That's two weak throws by Giancarlo, which is kind of odd for him but maybe he's one of those guys who can only get off good heaves when they get the chance to line up everything behind it. And while there are several good arguments against it (and the single by Cespedes makes it even worse) I was OK with Nimmo's try for 3rd there.

The difference tonight (so far anyway) is no walks. The Yanx usually get their share of BBs which, when combined with these slop hits they're getting (what's that now, [crossout:2s3wfwch]7 of 9[/crossout:2s3wfwch] 8 of 10 which wouldn't break a pane of glass?) means lots of baserunners until someone "runs into one".

That "wild pitch" was classic Sanchez and, in this case, it bought us a run. He's a good thrower on SB attempts but a stiff behind the plate otherwise and costs the Yanx a lot of PBs
