Starting late here. Mets just went up 3-1 on a two-run homer by José Reyes.

12 innings pitched for the Marlins pen so far this series: Mets have 2 runs (the Plawecki 2-RBI single in Game 1) on just 4 hits off that crew

Gary talked about the Phillies sending down Zach Eflin (who the Mets will see on Thursday) to give them an extra player on the bench: http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/phi ... 80811.html (there is a longer look in The Athletic but that's behind a paywall). As fans, we would appreciate the Mets thinking this way (a day off, send a SP down so you have another player on the bench or another reliever) but we forget that the major leaguer loses money and service time.

Definitely a lot of CAHNfidence in throws coming across the diamond from Frazier. Haven't necessarily had that from recent 3Bmen: Flores, Reyes, etc, and brief glimpses of Wright

Four previous rainouts were made up amid a succeeding set (2000, 2003, 2008, each two-stadium ordeals) or day-nighted into an ongoing set (2004).
