its because Matz sucks. Don't trade him, they all said. he's finally got it together, they said. This guy's entire career has been a shitshow, interrupted by fleeting moments of success, and its never been the other way around. Fuck Matz.

Matz sure does seem like the human buzzkill an awful lot. Another run comes in. But we do know that the Phillies' bullpen sucks and the Mets can score lots of runs in this park.

Those last two AB's were just hard to watch. Trying to hit the ball 600 feet usually doesn't work out well on nasty stuff outside.
