It's been a weird second half in that I always feel confident going into a Wheeler game, and always feel wary going into a deGrom game.

It's officially one game now, but it's stunning that it took them until nearly 10 PM before they made that official. Were they really thinking that starting a game at One AM-ish was a possibility?!?

Wheeler = 57 pitches thru 6 innings. Now I realize this game is being played under different circumstances than many, but 57 pitches is known as the top of the 2nd when Matz is on the mound.

The better Wheeler gets the worse Matz looks, yeah? I swear the way to make this team kick ass is to go out and sign a guy who'll make deGrom and Wheeler and Syndy work to prove they're better. Trade Matz for the catcher you need, or give him the Gselleman treatment and put him in the pen.
