It's his seminal work and maybe, as a guitar player and a fan of guitar players, my favorite album of guitar playing and soloing. It's a shame he passed away before he could realize the full follow up double album that ended up being split between "Cry of Love" and "Rainbow Bridge," not to mention about 50 subsequent follow up releases.
