You left out the Waldbuhne, built in Berlin at the request of Josef Goebbels to hold classical music concerts. In Mario Puzo's The Godfather book, Don Corleone observes how easy it is to be a philanthropist after you've stolen millikns of everybody else's money. And those heaping praise for these scumbags acts of generosity are the biggest suckers. (Corleone's words, through Puzo, not mine) But good for Fred who benefited immeasurably from knowingly investing in what was a ponzi scheme, leveraging a fraudulent balance sheet inflated by imaginary profits from Madoff into full ownership of what is now a multi billion dollar baseball team and then giving back a coupl'a pennies to the wounded warriors.
