Not surprisingly, the Mets are not considered one of the 7 favorites. But more depressing, is that they go on to list fringe candidates. A total of 17 teams are discussed, but no mention of the Mets, except a throw away line about this past season.
Doesn't mean a heck of a lot, and a lot can change if Bloom gets this job and/or payroll opens up. But just some perspective on how far away we are.
