Qualifying Offers ain't what they used to be, either in the quantity offered or in the compensation they return or what they demand (depending on whether you're signing one or losing one).
Also the rules are more restrictive. If interested in all the details read here cuz it's a bit too complicated to just Donna Summarize them quickly (revenue sharing vs not, luxury exceeding vs not, protected picks vs not, etc.).

Anyway, there are only seven players who were offered the QO amount by their existing team -- Patrick Corbin, Yasmani Grandal, Bryce Harper, Dallas Keuchel, Craig Kimbrel, AJ Pollack, Hyun-Jin Ryu,
so you may want to take that into consideration if you're going about planning your ideal team.

Manny wasn't eligible for the QO because he was trading during the season, correct?

Yup. That's one of several conditions that get one out of QO jail. Having been offered a QO in a prior year is another.
Muffy, for instance, is ineligible due to both conditions, and probably also to teams fearing his knee(s) condition.

I could see Pollock or Ryu taking the QO and betting on himself staying healthy next year, but that's far from a given. I would keep an eye on Pollock should his market drop if he doesn't take the QO.

You can probably get two good relievers for the price of Kimbrel, plus hold on to the draft pick. I'd be shocked if he winds up anywhere other than back in Boston.

I'd rather have Ramos and the pick instead of Grandal. It will be interesting to see if this makes their markets shift.

Keuchel is even less desirable now.

I felt as if Pollock was the big-balls lottery ticket of this market BEFORE this. This clinches it. He'll be unsigned way too long, and provide great value when he inks. (Even when missing 1/3 of the year and hitting meh, he's been worth about 3 WAR a year.)

Ryu is the lone player to accept his club's QO.
The remainder -- Patrick Corbin, Yasmani Grandal, Bryce Harper, Dallas Keuchel, Craig Kimbrel, and AJ Pollack -- become Free Agents with some measure of compensation from the signing team to their original squad.

I think Keuchel, Kimbrel, amd Pollack should have accepted. I could go either way on Grandal.

And while I'd have to go back and read through the ultra-complicated QO rules & regs again, I don't think the loss of whatever draft pick it would cost the Mets should be the thing that stops them.
