Worked from home so I could attend daycare's halloween parade. Also because my job is really bad and any excuse not to be in the office is a good one to me. It's a shame my computer died.

4 year old Ceetarette had to be 'something spooky' so she chose Mother Gothel, the bad witch from Rapunzel that steals her away. Her sister, naturally, is Rapunzel. I'm the King (I argued for Flynn Ryder, but alas), and my wife will be the Queen when we go out later trick or treating with their pediatrician.

possibly related: I sorta decided this week to stop being a gluttonous sloth. Bad week to decide not to be eating snacks.

Re: Costumes

Not sure what my daughter in college is going as, and I can't dress up. But my jack-o-lantern is the happy, no-drama llama. I love llamas.

Don't know what my kids wore, or their kids wore, but MMYF wore a shirt with a skeleton face on it and I wore one of my Deadpool shirts to work.
We have a lot in common medically.

But the Mets Beltran has the proper attitude - don't mess with me.

Re: Costumes

It's neat that they're (sorta) in size/age order but sad that there's no nod to the first Astros stint.

Not surprisingly, the cat doesn't seem to be into it.

My grandkids were Belle and CatBoy.

We had a lot of great trick or treaters, everything from Vamperina to a squad of M&Ms. And one little bear around 18 months who grrrred at me :D

Lunchpail went as lefthanded Syndergaard (shirsey, hat, he has long blonde hair already, Thor hammer and a glove) but I missed Halloween traveling. Wifey may have a pic

Re: Costumes

We have a free-to-good-home pile at work. It's mostly books and magazines, but somebody left a yarn-doll astronaut keychain. I've fallen hard for one of my wife's students, Eliza, who's a really good storyteller told me she likes astronauts, so I grabbed the keychain to bring home for her.

Her mother wrote me this morn to say that her daughter trick-or-treated as an astronaut and took her new keychain buddy with her.

The jumpsuit is much cooler than a pressure suit, and less clunky. Good look!

That's awesome, Edgy.

If someone could instruct me how I can post linked images here without them being MONSTROUSLY huge, I will post my kids costumes.

Re: Costumes

If you stick the image between this (without the *'s) that should work.

Fans of a National Lampoon movie series might find this amusing....
