I can't find the old Walking Dead Thread.

Not 4 nothing but this is a franchise completely out of control, they promote the hell out of the "final episode" thing, pretend he's about to die, then flies him away at the end like the gottdam last episode of MASH and reveal they are actually going to do feature films in other settings that may or may not include him. Why wouldn't he spend all his efforts trying to return to Alexandria? How could the rest of the crew be so close and not see/hear the helicopter?

Also, jumping ahead 6 years in the show with Judith as the new Sherriff, starting next month.

Is the trash lady/helicopter A/B thing actually a part of the comics?

Re: Rick Grimes Flies Away

Not as far as I read, and I read past the Negan stuff for, like, 10 issues or so.

I stopped watching a season and a half ago, and I've never regretted it.

Re: Rick Grimes Flies Away

After all the "this is the end of Rick" build up, to have him fly off into another series and AMC movies is really annoying. On one hand, i'm glad the character is still alive to have further adventures but, on the other...wtf? that was a mighty big chain puller.
