Trees don't burn (or cause fire to spread) anywhere near as easily as the undergrowth. This is why anybody who equates fire prevention with tree removal is an ignorant buffoon.

I was looking for where the foundation was, and then I realized that the embers and debris all collapsed into the foundation, which I guess is the way firefighters want houses to go down.
