Dare we speak of Oliver Perez?

He hasn't started a game since he was a Met. Since then, he has had the same type of up and down loogy career as Blevins and Sipp.

If his name wasn't Oliver Perez, I would say that you put him in the same classification. Obviously the past history here complicates that. Does BVW care?

In. A. Heartbeat.

He's exactly what we need. Bring him home, BVW.

I have no problem bringing back Perez. Looking at his numbers, he's managed to be at least league average since becoming a reliever. Worth an offer.

If 30 IP is the best he can do, then no.

I'm not sure that is fair considering what his role is now. All we need is for him to be the loogy.

I don't think I could handle it.

I'm all for giving Zamora some competition for the one-out role, but if I'm going to spend on a lefty, I'd rather pay more and get somebody who can be more than that, and then still have Zamora or somebody similar for one or two outs at a time.
