Since we're on the subject of lefties...

Chris Rusin had as good a season in 2017 as a lefty out of the pen can possibly have -- 85 IP with a 2.65 ERA. In Colorado, that ERA translates to a 199 ERA+; by comparison, Edwin Diaz had a 208 ERA+ last season. Last year was an unmitigated disaster, however, as he tanked to the tune of a 6.09 ERA. The good news? He had a 2.08 ERA in September, and pitched four scoreless innings in the postseason for the Rockies. He was listed as a possible non-tender candidate by MLBTR, but the Rockies brought him back and will likely be on the tab for less than two million. The question is, what do the Rockies think of him at this point? What would they want in return, and will it be worth the gamble?
