Unlike Jackson, though, he comes on a minor league deal. He's certainly older than Jackson. He's older than most. Nonetheless, even though he's a 38-year-old centerfielder, he's probably got something like a 50% chance at cracking the opening day roster. At this point, anyhow.

I hope he delivers in a crucial pinch-running situation in September. I also hope he is not needed for more than that.
