They're both nice, happy, appealing covers, but I went with SMILE HIGH because the action photo of Nimmo looks better than the head shot of deGrom.

If we're voting solely on the events being depicted, then why bother even showing the newspapers? They seem to be superfluous to some of youse. This tournament would play out just the same without any pictures. All Grimm's gotta do is tell us that one cover is positive and the other one's negative.

And Jacob deGrom... is out of this competition! The sole remaining cover featuring our Cy Young winner was narrowly out-smiled by Brandon Nimmo and SMILE HIGH in this battle between two Newsday covers. The only thing standing between SMILE HIGH and the Final Four is IT'S RAININ' METS, which it will face in the fourth round.
