The Gsellman cover is much better (tighter focus much better picture) AND it comes with a Harvey dig! Plus you see the MFYs got embarrased. I can't believe this one is so close! #TeamGselly

Agreed. Gsellman's locks and beard generally give me a kind of awkward feel with him, like he's a counterfeit deGrom. But when he gets that intense rah-rah game face going, his look suddenly feels authentic, and the photog totally captured that.

The seventh poll of the third round has now closed, and the New York Post's GSELL THE MAN! has severed our final connection with Matt Harvey, as MATT OUTTA HELL is now eliminated. The Post had only two covers among the 22 that emerged from the first round, and now as we approach the Final Four, both of those covers survive. It's good news/bad news for the Post: They're now guaranteed to have one, and only one, of their covers in the Final Four, as fate has determined that GSELL THE MAN! will face off against the only other remaining Post cover, SWEEP SNAKES, in the next round.

Some surprise results (not this one necessarily) this year. A lot of covers I thought would be finalists are gone. And others like Sweep Snakes, just keeps chugging.
